Amelia's 2nd Birthday

I have found that the older Amelia gets the harder it is to take time to sit down and blog about all the crazy stuff she does and says! Amelia is such a bright and happy child and has brought a lot of joy to our lives over the past two years! It is amazing that two years ago she was only 1 lb. 10 oz., 720 grams! I am so lucky to have such a great little girl! So here is a few photos to show how much she has grown! Here she is only hours old...

Even at a young age of a few days old she had spunk and personality!

Here is my baby girl at the healthy age of 2! I can't believe it!!

She is a computer whiz...

Loves the Savior...

Can't get enough of the fun music cards...

Diva of South Jordan...
Thrilled with the simple things in life...

Loves talking to her Uncle Jas...

Loves riding her new bike with her diva fluffy shoes...

Loves eating cake and ice cream...

Loves hanging out with her Nana...

Loves the temple...

Loves nice blankets made by her Aunt Kelly and soccer balls...

Loves running...

And, absolutely LOVES riding the scooter and wearing the gear with her mommy and daddy!

Amelia's First Birthday Party

On Saturday we had Amelia's first Birthday Party! It was a lot of fun! We are so blessed to have wonderful family and friends! It was a hot day and the plan was to have the party outside with cake and ice cream! The cake was being dished up and I forgot we had ice cream until most people had finished their cake. I also forgot to hand out the party hats and forgot to take Amelia's clothes off prior to her cake eating. How ditzy can I be?!? When I planned her birthday party I checked all sports schedules and planned accordingly. Well, I did not take into consideration that TV takes the reins and can change the times for the games. Amelia had a wonderful birthday party with a great cake! See the photos below. She dug right in and smeared frosting everywhere! Oh well, she had a good time and was very tired!! She got a lot of fun toys for her to play with (she LOVES the drums!!!!)! I think Rob and I love the doodler more than she does...we passed notes in church! Again, we thank all of you who came to celebrate and those that were here in spirit! We love you guys!!
