Our sweet baby girl is growing up! Amelia is 10 times her birth weight! I proudly proclaimed that at her 6 months appointment after she weighed in. Okay, so she is a little less than that since she was 1 lb 10 oz. But still...close enough!! She is doing so well that we are not allowed to attempt to feed her rice cereal! To say the least, it has been fun just watching her facial expressions and how she responds to eating. On the second day of rice cereal, she grabbed the spoon from Rob and started to try to feed herself! It was quite amusing! She gets these funny looks on her face during the first bite, but then she warms up to it! Here are some photos that capture the day! I can't believe how much she is growing and all the things she is accomplishing! I'm so grateful to have this beautiful little girl in my life and that I am the one that gets to be her mom. What a wonderful blessing!

Hey big sis! :) It is good to hear from you and that we have a child the same age!! She is soooo adorable. I do want the whole story, though, of everything, if you don't mind sharing of course. I think I have read your ENTIRE blog for more info on your little boy and then your little girl. I feel like you have gone through so much to get this little girl and I feel for you! You are one amazing girl. How's Pete? I think I saw him in your blog, but there wasn't a comment to confirm anything. hmmmm. I am jealous that you lived in CO for a while and you now in UT, huh? Cool! Aren't babies awesome? :)
